Terms of service

PixieCV is provided by C.S. VENTURE LAB, SASU, 4 Rue du Pensionnat Notre-Dame de France, Cité du Numérique, 43000 Le Puy-en-Velay, France. Contact: [email protected]. Full company details are in the legal notice.

You need an account to use PixieCV. You must be at least 16 years old, register with your own details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

• Free — €0. All features. No credits are included and there is no free trial; buy credit packs when you need them.
• Starter — €4.99 per month. 50 credits for each paid monthly billing period.
• Pro — €9.99 per month. 150 credits for each paid monthly billing period.
• Credit packs — 50 credits for €5.00, 150 credits for €12.00, one-off payments.

All prices include applicable VAT. Credits are the only thing that unlocks features. Any account with a credit balance above 0 can use every feature: importing and pasting job adverts, saved jobs (no limit), job match reports, tailored CVs, cover letters, job alerts, application tracking, courses, the shareable profile, interview practice, and CV review and rewrite. AI actions deduct their normal credit cost.

With a balance of 0 credits, your profile, CV editor and existing saved data remain accessible and can be read and edited by hand. Importing new jobs and running AI actions are unavailable until you add credits, and job alerts pause and resume automatically when credits are added.

Subscriptions (Starter and Pro) only add their monthly credits; they do not unlock any additional features.

Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at unless we notify a change as described in section 10.

AI actions cost credits; the cost of each action is shown before you use it. Subscription credits and purchased credits are added to a single balance on your account. Credits are only added after our payment provider confirms the payment. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account. Credits do not currently expire while your account is open. If a payment is refunded, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance. Promotional credits (for example from a promo code) are spent first, like other free credits, have no cash value and aren't refundable.

If an AI action fails, the credits reserved for it are returned automatically. We may limit very high or unusual usage to protect the service.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Monthly credits are added for each successful renewal; a failed payment adds no credits.

You can switch between Starter and Pro, update your card, see past payments or cancel from “Manage subscription” in Settings. Any amount due for a change is shown before you confirm it. Changing plan during a billing period does not add an extra set of monthly credits.

Cancelling a subscription and your legal right of withdrawal (including the online withdrawal form in Settings, “Exercise my right of withdrawal”) are explained in the refunds and cancellation terms.

For Starter, Pro and credit packs, the withdrawal refund is calculated from unused credits only: purchase price × unused credits ÷ credits granted for that purchase or billing period, rounded down to the nearest cent. Days left in the subscription period do not affect the amount. Subscriptions only add credits, not additional feature access.

• Do not upload someone else's personal data without their permission.
• Do not create false or misleading qualifications or work history.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not resell or share your account access.
• Do not upload unlawful, abusive or infringing content.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these rules and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

AI features help with wording and analysis based on information you provide. Results can be incomplete or wrong. Nothing is saved to your profile until you accept it, and you remain responsible for checking every document before sending it. PixieCV does not guarantee interviews, offers or employment and is not a recruitment agency.

Your profile, CVs and letters remain yours. You allow us only to store and process them to provide the service. You may use the documents you create freely. The PixieCV software, name, templates and interface belong to C.S. Venture Lab.

We will notify subscribers at least 30 days before a price or plan change affects them; you may cancel before it takes effect. Updated terms are published here with a new version number.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory consumer rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability; keep your own copies of important documents.

These terms are governed by French law. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim before its courts.
