Cookie policy

Needed for the service to work; exempt from consent.

• __cf_bm — bot protection by our network provider (Cloudflare).
• _dpl / __dpl — set by our hosting provider to route visitors to a consistent deployment; it identifies the deployment, not the visitor.
• Sign-in session — keeps you signed in (browser storage), until you sign out or it expires.
• Payment security — Stripe sets cookies during checkout to prevent fraud and complete the payment.
• Preferences — stored only on your device: interface language, light/dark theme, side panel open or closed, preferred CV editor mode, whether you dismissed the “install app” prompt, and a pending sign-up consent record until it is saved to your account.

Our hosting provider's built-in statistics count page views per visit using a session cookie (session-id) that lasts only for the visit. They create no profiles, don't follow visitors across visits and aren't linked to accounts. They're used only to count visits and see where visitors come from.

When you are signed in, PixieCV also records which pages and features you use in its own database to improve the product and detect problems. No cookie is used for this and the data is not shared with advertisers.

There is no advertising and no cross-site tracking, so no consent banner is shown.
